What's new in RoboServer 3.0

RoboServer 3.0 released in April 2013 includes the following new capabilities:

• Mindstorms NXT robotic platform now supported.
• Velocity control.
• Email and SMS alerts with Gmail.
• Sensors tracking dashboards with ThingSpeak.
• Social networking with Facebook.
• Web server and browser embedded in the application.
• Simplified installation.

Stay connected to your robot from anywhere at all times

RoboServer is a server for your robot. Send commands to your robot and read sensor data from your robot with RoboControl or iRoboControl through RoboServer from anywhere at all times. Receive email and SMS alerts if your robot gets stuck or if the charge of its battery goes below a certain threshold. Keep track of your robot sensor data using dashboards from ThingSpeak.com. Feed your robot Facebook page with posts on your robot's activities. RoboServer comes with RoboControl and RoboFriend. It needs to be downloaded separatly for iRoboControl.

Required Components

RoboServer requires the following components:

• Server computer running Windows XP, Vista, 7 or 8 (32 or 64 bit) with Bluetooth wireless and Internet connectivity.
• Roomba (any model manufactured after October 2005), Create or Mindstorms NXT.
• RooTooth Bluetooth device (required only for Roomba and Create).
